A BASE With the Clearest Stream in Japan to Empty Your Mind and Immerse Yourself in the Mystery of Nature
The Miya River, renowned as Japan's clearest stream, is believed to be connected to the Isuzu River that flows through Ise Jingu Shrine. We woke early, walked around the Misedani Dam area and then explored upstream on a canoe that we booked through Verde Odai Tourism. When we drifted gently across the mirror-like surface of the lake, we encountered small waterfalls and caught glimpses of kingfishers here and there. I could empty my mind and immerse myself in the mystery of nature.

At this spot, view the blue sky and the all-over blue of the sea in the morning, or since this spot is on the west side, come at sunset.
