Michi-no-Eki Project
The Trip Base Michi-no-Eki (roadside station) Project is a regional revitalization project collaborated by Sekisui House, Ltd. and Marriott International, Inc.
Michi-no-Eki are places where locals and travelers meet.
This project proposes the "TRIP BASE STYLE," a new form of traveling experience that allows visitors to freely travel around Japan while experiencing the charms of the region, using Fairfield by Marriott Michi-no-Eki Hotels situated beside Michi-no-Ekis nationwide, as a base.
We are working toward regional revitalization through tourism.
This project proposes the "TRIP BASE STYLE," a new form of traveling experience that allows visitors to freely travel around Japan while experiencing the charms of the region, using Fairfield by Marriott Michi-no-Eki Hotels situated beside Michi-no-Ekis nationwide, as a base.
We are working toward regional revitalization through tourism.
Our hotels specialize in providing overnight accommodations and have no restaurants, as we hope that "guests will go out and enjoy the local neighborhood to the fullest."
Guests can enjoy local gourmet and ingredients purchased nearby shop in the public lounges.
