Hiroshima Sera
A BASE Known as Sera Town's Power Spot
Daijoryu-jinja Shrine is known for so many display of ema (votive tablets) bearing the wishes of people who have come to worship. It recently gained popularity on social media for its supposed benefits for career advancement, drawing in more visitors. When I went to this shrine, I sincerely prayed for my own professional success, too.

Imakoyasan
Hiroshima Sera
A BASE Where You Can Soak in the Beauty of Every Season
Imakoyasan is a historic site designated by Hiroshima Prefecture. With its landscape painted in vibrant colors every season, such as cherry blossoms in spring, fresh verdure in summer, and autumn leaves, Imakoyasan (Ryuge-ji Temple) is the spot for you if you want to witness and feel the changing of the seasons. You can ring the bell at this temple yourself, so definitely give it a try. When I rang the bell, the sound it made was unexpectedly beautiful, making me feel as if my heart was being cleansed.

Okonomiyaki & Teppanyaki Waraya
Hiroshima Sera
A BASE Where You Can Fully Savor Piping Hot Hiroshima Flavors That Won't Disappoint You
Personally, it was the most delicious okonomiyaki I've ever had. I would recommend the "Sera no Megumi-yaki" for 900 yen. The bright red tomatoes harvested in Sera, the aroma of perilla leaves, and the richness of the cheese are a perfect match for this okonomiyaki. It's a must-eat when you come to Sera. Aside from that, there are many other types of okonomiyaki and alcoholic drinks available here.

A path where the god of running resides
Hiroshima Sera
A BASE Where You Can Go For a Run While Basking in Nature
Local high school students apparently often use this road as a training spot. I actually went for a light hike, and I realized that with its considerable slopes, it's perfect for training! It's the best place to exercise while feeling nature. Shuzen-in Temple, the starting point of the mountain path, is also a spot where you can feel a sense of peace and tranquility.

Sera Winery
Hiroshima Sera
A BASE Where You Will Feel a Bit More Grown-Up with Wine Born from Deep Local Love
If you're a wine lover, I don't think you'll be able to resist going to this winery. Before looking for your favorite wine, I recommend joining their winery tour first, to see how much effort they put into making their wines. I don't usually drink much, so I bought a pouch-type wine equivalent to about a glass of wine. It was light and easy to carry and made it possible for me to enjoy the taste of Sera wine in the comfort of my own home.

Popular Theater Sera Onsen
Hiroshima Sera
A BASE Where You Will Feel the Warmth in an Old-Fashioned Space with Popular Theater and Herbal Baths
Sera Onsen offers a variety of ways to enjoy, including medicinal baths, seasonal baths, open-air baths, and even a salt sauna. Once a month, there is also a popular theater show. The seasonal baths include rose bath, mint cool bath, wine bath, and yuzu citrus bath, so you can soak in different baths depending on the season! The sauna at Sera Onsen is very hot, so I was drenched in sweat and felt very refreshed.
