COCO FARM&WINERY
Tochigi Utsunomiya
A BASE Where You Can Relax With Delicious Wine Born Out of a Spirit of Caring for People
As I sipped a glass of delicious wine while admiring the vineyards, I was embraced by a deep sense of calm and relaxation that made me wonder if I was really in Japan. What began as a place built in hopes of helping students with special needs eventually transformed into one of Japan's leading wineries. I saw many people participating in their winery tours for just 500 yen.

Shokakuro
Tochigi Utsunomiya
A BASE Offering Mouthwatering Food That You Will Surely Want to Visit Again and Again Despite the Long Lines
This is a Chinese restaurant that is famous for its white and black dandan noodles. Its most popular dish is the white sesame dandan noodle soup that is extremely creamy and unbelievably smooth! This restaurant may have a simple, casual atmosphere, but what it lacks in ambience, it certainly makes up for in the taste of its dishes. Every dish is painstakingly prepared and is so delicious that you'll want to try everything on the menu. Once you visit, you'll want to come back again and again.

Be Moved by the Deliciousness! A BASE to Go When You Want to Deliver Utsunomiya's Specialty to Your Loved One
Karinto manju is a deep-fried brown sugar bun filled with red bean paste characterized by its thick, crispy exterior. I tried one straight out of the pan and I discovered it was much different from the manju (steamed bun with red bean paste filling) I imagined! The exquisite brown sugar aroma from the freshly fried skin made me devour them one after another. It has the kind of delicious taste that goes beyond the traditional concept of manju. It was so good that I found myself buying more as a souvenir.

Michi-no-Eki Utsunomiya Romantic Village
Tochigi Utsunomiya
A BASE Where Families Can Fully Immerse in Nature and Get Souvenirs from All Over Tochigi
This Michi-no-Eki (roadside atation) is full of nature and when you come in spring, you can even try your hand at digging bamboo shoots. Would you believe that this place also houses a brewery where they make craft beer and you can try it straight from the tap? I forgot it was a Michi-no-Eki as I sat back and relaxed with a drink. There are also all sorts of delicious specialties from all over Tochigi available here, so I felt that even if I had several stomachs, it wouldn't be enough to try them all!

Hatsukoi Sugar
Tochigi Utsunomiya
A BASE Where Sugar Infused with 100% Tochiotome Strawberries Will Put a Smile on Your Face
This is a rare granulated sugar containing 100% Tochiotome strawberries from Tochigi Prefecture that have been freeze-dried and crushed into large pieces. The sweet and sour, juicy aroma of fresh strawberries wafts out of the jar when you open it and the smell alone will make you feel happy. I recommend eating it in tea, over yogurt, or on sugar toast.
